2008 Ocean State Lacrosse Summer League

The Ocean State Lacrosse Club is offering a six week summer program for area high school players who are serious about improving their game and playing in regional weekend tournaments in June & July.

Tryouts for this program is open to all high school age players, and the plan is to field two teams, Varsity 'A', made up primarily of rising juniors and seniors, and Varsity 'B', made up of rising sophomores. A third team may be added as well.

The first tryout will be held on Sunday, April 20th from 4:00-6:00 at Guiteras Field (behind Guiteras School at corner of Hope & Washington Street). A second tryout will be on Sunday afternoon, May 4th from 4:00-6:00 at Portsmouth Abbey. A third tryout is tentatively scheduled for May 18th.

There is a one-time tryout fee of $25; players are encouraged to attend all tryouts.
